Computing provides our children with the opportunity for change, challenge and an exciting and rigorous curriculum which addresses the opportunities offered by the technologically rich world in which we live.

At Huyton with Roby we hope that our children will learn how computers and computer systems work.  They will have the opportunity to design and build programs, develop technology and create a wide range of content.

At Huyton with Roby we are lucky enough to have a variety and range of equipment for the children to use in computing and across the curriculum.  This includes a computer suite with 30 PC’s, Samsung Galaxy tablets for use in Key Stage 1 and 2, a small number of ipads and a range of robots, floor turtles, and cameras.

We follow the Rising Stars scheme of work for computing, as well as using some elements from the Knowsley scheme of work.
